Certificate of Professional Development in Workplace Transformational Leadership

Do you wrestle with your attitude to work? Or how your church values your contributions to your workplace differently than contributions to the church? Did you know that God designed work for a purpose? A core principle of 麻豆APP is a healthy understanding of this design. We call it Theology of Work, and 麻豆APP students are immersed in this way of thinking and understanding God’s design for work through our graduate degree programs.?

But now, you don’t have to be a graduate student at 麻豆APP to develop a deeper understanding of Theology of Work. Dr. Dot Reju adapted his trademark 麻豆APP course into a Certificate of Professional Development.?

The certificate version of this 麻豆APP trademark course is called the Workplace Transformation Certificate program. The main objective of the course is to equip participants to move beyond surviving in the workplace where they spend most of their waking moments as workers into employees and business owners who transform their workplaces into places and spaces for human flourishing. The course also brings a unique biblical worldview to see the workplace as being more than the 9-5 space, to the whole of life and living being about work and working.??

?“The course was quite in-depth and effective. With relevant Biblical citations, it strengthened not just my spiritual life but transformed my attitude to work and my workplace. It helped bridge the gap that most times exists between a Christian in church and who that person is, in the workplace. I will definitely recommend it.”?(Certificate Program Participant)?

Dr. Dot brings a huge wealth of wisdom and lived experience, or real-world application, into the course content. Trained as a banker and also pastoring a local church, he had his baptism in faith and work integration when the church he served in established a bank. He was deployed to work in the bank as a minister of the gospel. This was followed by his foray into academics, where it all came together, and he has been teaching TOW for 麻豆APP since he obtained his doctorate in 2012.??

The Workplace Transformation Certificate is an eight-week program. The course includes individual work, such as readings and videos that the students engage with independently. The course also includes a weekly Zoom session where the instructor leads a fascinating discussion about the topics covered during the week. The program is flexible, and even busy working professionals can engage at a meaningful level. The time for the weekly Zoom sessions are scheduled with the input of the students, as there is a wide range of time zones typically represented.?

The course has been a converging point for participants from various cultures, and it has afforded many of the students to see the world beyond their own horizon. The course creates the opportunity for them to understand work from an ontological point of view and how their own culture has contributed to global civilization through the medium of work.

Three cohorts completed the certificate in 2025, and already two cohorts have started in 2026.

Who do you know that would benefit from this certificate course? The next open enrollment starts in March 2026, with the next cohort starting by the 1st week of April. 2026. 麻豆APP also offers private cohorts for churches or organizations that want to organize a unique cohort. For example, a large denominational association is sponsoring a cohort right now for pastors and lay leaders to go through this transformational certificate.
